Bose 251 outdoor speakers are designed and tested to withstand snow, rain, salt and extreme temperatures between -30 and +60 degrees C. In addition, they are protected by a 5-year warranty. The quality of the performance is above most of the outdoor speakers and even the indoor ones.

Bose outdoor speakers are designed for harsh conditions. These weather-resistant speakers are engineered and tested to withstand snow, rain, salt and temperature extremes of 60°C (140°F) to -30°C (-22°F). They are also protected by a five-year limited warranty.

Outdoor Lifestyle Performance
Create the perfect system for outdoor auditions with a Bose 251 package and the Bose SoundTouch SA-5 amplifier. A 251 / SA-5 amplifier package is easily added to a Bose Lifestyle system, to expand its capabilities outside. You can bring music by the pool, in the garden or anywhere you want around the house. At the same time, the Lifestyle system can be used indoors to listen to something else or to watch movies. If a Lifestyle system and 251 speakers are already installed, they can be connected directly via an SA-5 amplifier.
Streaming music using SoundTouch
Another great feature you can enjoy is streaming music through your home WiFi network. With an optional SoundTouch SA-5 amplifier you can enjoy music easier than ever. Wireless streaming with 20,000 Internet radio stations from around the world, songs and playlists from your own music collection and music services. All are accessible via the house’s WiFi network. It also works with other SoundTouch systems to create a multi-room listening experience. In Party mode, these systems work together to play the same music everywhere. You can stream different songs in different rooms or create custom zones.
